I have one set of white trashish neighbors who drive me nuts on certain days. Why ? They let the dog bark. And bark. And bark.
My biggest pet peeve on the planet. Thankfully, it is rare, and they live pretty far away ( they live one two acres, me on one).
Luckily, I have never even seen these people. I do hear them scream at each other from time to time as well. They have lived here for years - idiot kids of elderly couple who moved back in with parents. Soon enough they'll go, as the property value has skyrocketed and they could never afford this neighborhood now.
Nonetheless, I can't wait until they move. Even one day a week is too often to hear a dog barking for more than 25 seconds, IMO. Especially, at say, midnight. The other neighbors and I are planning a big celebration when the trash gets tossed out !

I will exercise my right to remain silent...anything I say can and will be used against me in a divorce court ;)

Actually, pain in the butt is a little harsh...I've often joked with my husband that "you may be one big headache, but at least you are never boring" and he seems to agree with me

Families, yes...can grate on our every last nerve...but I think it's just because we know them so well, sometimes better than they know themselves....and we love them so much that when we see them doing 'bonehead' things...we get a bit miffed...at least I do.
