If you poop at Christmas, that doesn't make it a Christmas turd.

That's some $tevie Nicks logic right there. ;)

No…,
But if you poop in December and put snow on it, then it’s definitely intended to be a Christmas turd.
But that said, let’s not put ALAYF in the same sentence as turd…..cos it’s deifinately no turd, obvs

Agreed.

Snow in a video doesn't mean it's a Christmas song.

Why is ALAYF related to Christmas? Is it for the snow or is there something else in the video that I didn't see? I mean, yes I realize snow is very related to xmas in northern countries, but I didn't see any christmas decoration in the apartments. And as far as I know it may snow in february or march, in the north hemisphere at least.

And Landslide could be also related to christmas, or ask Michael Keaton.

For a quick second Santa's sleigh is on the roof of the apartment building next door.

The ALAYF suggestion made me think of Landslide too. I think Landslide definitely could be a Christmas song. A melancholy one like River, a time of year to take stock of seasons come and gone. Or you could say the song is about outgrowing a belief in Santa Claus.

I played ALAYF the other day! It totally reminds me of the holiday. I remember when it was released and played on VH1.
