(Inspired by everyone these days taking photos of themselves in the bathroom mirror with digital cameras and posting them on Facebook.) ;) :wavey:

There is the possibility, that Stevie took this after everyone else basically collapsed.

If it were taken in 1985, it might be in Dallas, Texas. While recording Rock a Little. I have suspected that Stevie like, went slumming once or twice back then. So, it could be ANY "crummy, little bathroom," really - from that standpoint.

She was probably the last one standing once or twice, and I think that's what this picture is. I think they were in Dallas recording from 10-4, then some folks split off, then the remaining half partied till sunrise. Then, while the rest of them were dead to the world, Stevie holes up in the bathroom for a while. And now it's like, 4 PM the next day, and she's hanging over a mirror and taking Polaroids, and blacking out the windows.

Maybe those are something similar to the circumstances of this picture, and maybe not. Maybe it was just a regular entry in her extensive photo diary of her life. Regardless, interesting that she chose to share this in 1998, in Enchanted, which was such a COMPREHENSIVE look back at her career. I suppose that she HAD to include it.

Hence, "Back to the bathroom, again".

I think in 1998, they had to crop out the duct tape for the windows and edges of the mirror on the bathroom counter. But hey, what do I know.

I have always looked at this and similar pictures as a very exhausted, lonely Stevie wanting to record for herself she was still there.. Does that make any sense ?

Stevie doesn't "DO" candids. i could NEVER imagine her chronicling a seedy night no less. i think this was deliberately "low-rent" for some reason. i meam, the jacket n matching boots... not what i would picture her in at 4am after partying all night. just my thoughts. she seems WAY too image conscious to deliberately chronicle a "ruff night".

Not her most flattering period.... she lost all of the roundness she used to have in her cheeks leaving her face look too skinny and flat.... the picture of her at her current age shows her cheeks are back (or injected back...but either way, much better)

Oh she's totally had them done.

Look at early pics and her two top front teeth are significantly larger and longer than the other teeth....and a little bit bucked out... nowadays (and for a while) they've been perfectly even size and length and not bucky at all.

She's a master at tweaking with plastic surgery but keeping it subtle. She's changed her nose several times. That's how she found out about the hole in her nose... she was consulting with a plastic surgeon about tweaking her nose and he said um.... you've got this big-ass hole in there, do you know that??

She's slimmed her nose and then rounded the tip and appears to have tweaked it again a bit more towards her original nose again. She's messed with her implants several times (going too large at one point) before removing the silicone ones and getting saline ones.

She clearly has work done on her face/skin to keep it in such great shape with peels and she's had some fillers also or the lines on either side of her mouth would be MUCH deeper and she'd have all those lines above her top lip from so many years of smoking....

No one in showbiz is truly 'au naturel' it's just a question of using the best doctors who make it look so good. She deserves credit for always getting the best doctors and not cheaping out.

^I agree with everything except for the nose job, I honestly don't think she's had it done. I was always under the impression that she KNEW about the hole in her nose, and went to see the plastic surgeon about fixing it - and that's when he was like, you could have an aneurysm any minute now..
