Personally, my entire being this weekend is focused on whining about my teeth. I had a root canal on Thursday and it hurts more today than it did when he worked on it. In honor of my pain, I'm posting the following disgusting picture of a root canal procedure.

God, I'm so glad I have pretty good flossing & brushing habits. I haven't had a cavity in years and years. Hopefully I'll never have to have a damn Root-canal!

Dude, that's what pisses me off. I'm ultra conscious about my teeth because I'm a smoker. I brush two or three times a day, and floss every day. It was my first dentist's appointment in probably like five years, and I need a root canal and have NINE cavities. He says susceptibility to this crap is hereditary, and my dad does have horrific teeth- it pisses me off.

I did. I got a bad case of shyness.

YES!! these are the moments I live for!! hahah...I'm a dental assistant btw. anyway...have you called your dentist? or did he/she give you some pain med? if it doesn't get better by monday I would definately call. also, did he FINISH the procedure, or just partially do it? he may have not gotten all of the bacteria/tissue out. anyway...sorry..I am such a dork about this stuff, but thought I'd offer my 2 cents-which is worth actually less than that ;)

Oh, sweet! A professional! He gave me a scrip for Vicodin, I've been taking it every six hours with Advil in between. I guess he only partially did it? He put in the temporary filling or whatever and I have to go back on Tuesday for him to finish it and do the cavities. I don't really get what he has to do to fill it, though. I mean, is it like a regular filling? Or is it a crown? I don't get what they do.

Which is probably why I'm a actor. I've always been shy, but once I get on set or stage, it's gone. I get to be somebody else for awhile.
