That's true. Mick even recognized that in some way, when he wrote:
Later Stevie would give me a hard time. "Aaabhh, if I hadn't been with Lindsey you wouldn't have wanted me." And like that. All I can say is that I remembered this guitar player but couldn't remember his name.
Now, if Stevie had not joined the band, the history of Fleetwood Mac would have been completely different. Same as if Christine hadn't in 1970 (in that case I don't think it would have even gotten to the moment when Mick met Lindsey). |
