I saw this on your signature and thought, "I wish she'd tell her that NOW!!" Coz the confidence she displayed in that remark seemed woefully missing in recent interviews and events.

She kinda seemed to be back on CBS last Wednesday and on that Sirius interview....

I’m really enjoying this channel. They’re doing a great of mixing things up. All eras of Fleetwood Mac on random is a decent radio station unto itself.

My only gripes are there seems to be a lot of bumpers and some of the non-FM artists they’ve played. It was a little ironic to hear “Hotel California” earlier today.

When they played Heroes and Coming Home, I almost fell off my chair.

I'm working so it keeps catching me off guard. :D

Has anyone heard any Buckingham Nicks or Buckingham McVie yet?

Neither. And I would love to hear either one.

The interviews are great too. They had an interview with Finn, Stevie, Mick, Christine.
I heard today:
Walk a Thin Line
Stand Back live (Stevie solo)
Goodbye Baby (live)
Why
You Make Loving Fun
Gold Dust Woman outtake
Homeward Bound

I only have it in my car so I have to be driving but boy what a treat :)

Seems like Mike is going to be more along the lines of John when it comes to interviews; Neil is used to being the frontman and is used to jumping right in and talking.

Christine McVie was DJ for an hour. She played Hypnotized. Or, it was right before she came on. I was working.. so I'm not sure of the order.

I love the end of that song. The vocals and the keys.

“The Bigger The Love” by John McVie.

This is friggin’ awesome. Way better than I thought the station would be.

After my reaction to it yesterday I'm enjoying it immensely. Someone here (please forgive me I don't remember who) made the point about still being able to enjoy the music. I've dreamed of a FM channel for years while other bands I'm less interested in had their channels. My drive to work was the best it's ever been--half the time I'm barely awake since I'm not a morning person.

On the way home I heard Neil talking about playing World Is Turning. Yep, that's what he called it. According to him he's not a blues player so this song allows him to expand his lexicon and for people getting older you need brain plasticity. He added the song has a unique finger picking style and he can't wait to get his claw hand around it. I heard this with my own 2 ears.

Safe Harbour!! wow.. I love the sound of this track.

I am just so angry with all of them that I found it a bit difficult to even want to turn on the channel. Yes, I had to take a deep breath and really will myself to do it.

But I did, and found myself with a few tears, listening to Christine talk about Lindsey. She was praising everything about him and his songs. That just struck me as more sad.

Then I heard Mick talking about the "Bob Welch" era. Hard to believe that he was actually referring to the man himself.......and he actually said that Bob was an important and often missed part of the band, and no longer with us. Really, Mick? Could he have not extended the same courtesy while the guy was alive?

THEN Neil Finn came on, and talked about FM, and I thought "What twilight zone am I in??" I have nothing negative to say about him or Mike, but it just seemed so strange to have someone that I know little about, discussing FM like he is a seasoned member.

The music is really amazing though. The deep tracks are awesome. But I am just one of those people who is so disappointed in the 4 that I struggle internally with this channel right now. Maybe in time it will be better and I can reach that place of loving the music without being bothered by what happened. Right now it just reminds me of what has happened.

And by the way, I loved all 5 equally. And I would be pissed no matter who was voted out. But my disappointment with the remaining 4 is tangible and real. And I'm tired of people saying "just get over it." I will mourn as long as I feel I need to, because to me, this feels like a death.

And I will go see Lindsey on his solo tours, and I will NOT see this group now. I would want to give each and every one of the remaining members the stink eye.......not that they would care.:distress:
