Alright, so I thought maybe we could do another picture thread since the other one is huge, and older.

I'll start off with a picture at me on my last day of high school, saying goodbye to all of my non senior friends. The girl on the right of the picture, in the brown, is the girl that I was majorly into (the one who I always asked advice about, remember? :laugh: She was such a beautiful girl~

Everyone looks happy in this thread. Maybe that's a great thing about pictures and posing...they're taken during happy times and THAT'S what we want to remember.

Thanks honey! I must admit booking a holiday to LA was enough for me to finally sort myself out (I'm not the sort of person to lose weight due to stress... I'm a comfort eater! :rolleyes:)

The only pictures that were taken the past 2 years that I liked were both taken at Mom's grave.

Not to be misunderstood, I figured I better clarify my comment. The master's stole is very impressive as is the graduation. The hat joke was perhaps stupid or in poor taste. For that I apologise, that was not my intention.

I admire that you have your masters. It was a feat, I didn't accomplish. I lacked 6 hours and two lousy ed psych classes back in 1984 and was sick of school. Sick of teaching for 9 1/2 months and then sick of attending masters classes at night and during summer break.

I commend you on the accomplishment, and of course, it goes without saying, that you are one attractive woman.

No matter WHAT hat you put on your head, you'd give Princess Diana a run for her money.

Weren't you going on about how you are unattractive? You are not. You are nice looking. I think you mentioned you were worried about your weight. If you are, that is fairly easily resolved -- from the looks of these pics, I'd say if you lost 25 pounds, you'd not have that monkey on your back :shrug:

Anyway - don't be too hard on yourself. Remember, it pretty much works this way -- you have to like you before someone else will.

I need to chime in here as well. Based on your previous comments regarding your appearance, I thought that perhaps you were disfigured or something!!! Good Lord, you are a perfectly normal (I mean that in a nice way), attractive man. I hope you are feeling less negative about yourself. I know that we all go through periods of feeling gross, but you have nothing to worry about, okay?

They're not models but they'd be flattered you thought so! We wore the same color to a friend's birthday party coincidentally. He had a photographer set up so we decided to get our picture taken. A DJ was spinning tunes so we just started dancing. I love that shot because it almost looks posed but it wasn't.

I understand how you feel, I HATE having my picture taken - have for years and years (Possibly due to the fact I have FUBAR'd teeth when I was younger until a bout of braces cured that - But the teeth issue also caused self-esteem issues, that still to this very day, persist).

I think in the last 10 years I have only had my mug snapped about 10 times total - and 2 of those were to renew my driver's license. Having my image taken is the WORST thing in my mind (That, and certain family members who love to take pictures of departed relatives who lie in their coffins...SORRY, I dont want to remember ANY relative in that way - I have a hard enough time trying to erase the image of my Mom in her peaceful state.)
