Little Big Town

Not sure if we discussed. I knew LBT covers The Chain in concert but I saw on youtube a few versions of Go Your Own Way and Stop Draggin My Heart Around. I am not good enough to attach. I love that band for the reason I love FM - the vocals are amazing. Their covers are just great.

I think those are the only FM covers I've seen. (They sprinkle in covers from all sorts of eras, from FM and the Eagles to Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga.) I remember how much their vocals floored me the first time I heard "Good as Gone" on "The Road to Here." The parallels to FM were pretty apparent back then, especially on "Bones" (which is at least inspired heavily by "The Chain"), but their Crossroads show with Lindsey really cemented it. With FM getting up there in years, I'm glad I have these guys to fall back on! :)

I love LBT. I have all their CDs. I feel the same way about them.

Lindsey did a Crossroads episode with LBT back in 2007 i believe. there's a bootleg DVD of that episode floating around, and there are also some additional outtakes on CMT website (a pretty fab acoustic version of the Chain as a part of the backstage jam). they did Good As Gone and Bones together too. their version of GYOW with LB was one of the best relatively recent version out there!
