"Live at the Marquee"

More than a few years late to this party, but I was hoping someone may be able to help me out with a question -
finally bought a copy of "Live at the Marquee", left to last because of all I'd read of it's lousy sound quality (all I read was true, unfortunately) - but still a worthwhile purchase -
very interesting to hear the band at this early stage - Jeremy's numbers were quite revealing, in my opinion - he wasn't trying to recreate the songs, just play them -
the intensity with which he attacks them shows his rock 'n roll roots quite clearly, to the benefit of the songs -
I think it's probably the best version of "I Held My Baby Last Night" that they did - on this track, I have to give the edge to Brunning over McVie -
my question though concerns the notations I've seen stating that both "Long Grey Mare" and "Red Hot Mama" were performed, but left off the disc.
I can understand where the claim for "Long Grey Mare" comes from, though, I don't think they played it - I can't hear a cut after Green's announcement of the title - I think he just changed his mind - same way he decided to take a second solo during the song they did play, "Evil Woman Blues" and got Mick completely screwed up < g >
but what is the basis for the saying that "Red Hot Mama" was also done that night? Was there an advance pressing that contained the track, like the infamous "Blue Suede Shoes" from "Shrine '69"?

Thanks in advance

Hmm, good question.
I'm sorry I can't help you. I haven't heard any cut either, and I don't know about "Red Hot Mama" either. But the set includes more "Jeremy-tracks" that "Peter-tracks" so I guess there were played more songs than those on the CD.
