I've always liked this little candid shot. Is it from the Radio City gig in 1983?

This one's great because of its brazen putdown of Fleetwood Mac -- something that Creem magazine used to do so well & so hilariously. The comparison to the New Christy Minstrels is devastatingly witty, & effectively throws Fleetwood Mac in the rubbish bin & then puts the lid down.

Creem mag was also witty with pulled quotes. I remember the Sylvie Simmons story on Stevie Nicks -- "Macrame Goddess Confronting the Gates of Elmo." Once you were done laughing at that hysterical title, your eyes glanced downward on the page & saw the following pulled quote from Stevie: "I just get a good feeling from ... I don't know ... the air." It effectively rendered the rest of the story an anticlimax.

stevie looked fierce during the RAL show i saw~ the way she had her eye makeup all black & sorta smeared was so cool looking~

This is how she was dressed at Pacific Amp on June 29. But other ledgies told me later that she wore the feather headgear at other shows, too.

Compared to the other RAL pics we've all seen, I'd say that's the best. Lest we forget those cowgirl hat pics... :shocked:

I always assumed it wasn't her fault, she fell into Dolly Parton's dressing up box.
