Fleetwood Mac NJ 1990

Another good quality 1990 concert has been uploaded to Youtube. The date is wrong. 07/24/1990 would have been the original date that was cancelled along with all tour dates that summer. I had tickets mid July. This is most likely Atlantic City November 1990 during the Farewell tour. Short skirt alert. Stevie and Chris showing leg tonight! Stevie spreads her legs lots in this concert. Perhaps its the short shirt but remember how she did that all the time while hunching down and grabbing the mic. I suppose this concert disproves the internet urban legend that the band opened with Sara this night. Who remembers that urban legend from the early days of the internet?
Another great show.

I read the urban legend that the Mac opened one show with "Sara" from the John Kinney Nicks Fix website.

I didn't find this believable for two reasons.

First, Fleetwood Mac almost NEVER deviated from their set list, especially in the later years post-1982.

Second, to my knowledge, Fleetwood Mac does not OPEN shows with Stevie Nicks songs. Also, "Sara" is such an odd choice for an opener.

Can anyone find proof that Fleetwood Mac ever opened a show with "Sara" - as the urband legend states?

I think this is true, but just in case I ask if there was a show where they opened with a Stevie song (besides obviously The Chain, who is a multi author song), and if there is a proof of.

I once saw Stevie open a solo gig with a Stevie Nicks song.

Until you show proof of that, I won't believe it.

This doesn’t count but the Grammys in 1998 where they did a medley - Rhiannon, Go Your Own Way, Don’t Stop

Oh yes! Now I remember that.
