Heart on Stern

I really enjoyed this interview and performance this morning. Unfortunately the entire interview is not on youtube (yet) but there are snippets. Here are 3 clips the sisters discussing their relationship with the Van Halen brothers and how hard they partied. The sisters say they never could take the stage high so always waited until after the concert. I would have loved to have asked them about their trip to Stevie's Arizona house on their 1985 tour when the Wilson sisters were in shock how much coke Stevie was doing.
They are the ultimate rock professionals. They never got high or drunk on stage and never use pre-recorded tracks. Its all live and they commit to their audience.

Saw the tik tok post on Van Halen. So funny, Nancy saying they were drunk all the time and sitting at the bar fighting and making up. They both said it was something to see.

Magic Man
Ann is incredible. She's still got her vocal range.

Like most all touring acts, Heart is definitely using pre-recorded tracks now. The pre-recorded track system has become the standard, and I hate it.

Check out this clip from Heart's late 2023 shows. Ann and Nancy are basically doing karaoke to the pre-recorded track.

That's not pre-recorded. If you go back to their 1985 tour or late 80s tours Heart always sounded just like the record. In fact while this version of Never is good, its much better on earlier tours.
Can you point to a part of the song that reveals its pre-recorded?
Heart has always been a band that does a live show that sounds just like the recording.

Check this out from 1987. If they were going to do a pre-recorded track, it would sound something like this, not that slower, more fuddy duddy version from 2023. I totally believe Nancy when she says Heart has never used pre-recorded tracks and never will.
