"Only You" lead guitar solo
 

I've got an intelligent question... ;)

"Only You" is one of my favourite Mac tunes but lately I've become unsure about whether it's Pete or Danny playing that scorching lead guitar solo in the second half of the song. At first I thought it was Danny, but then later I thought parts of it sounded more like Pete... and now again I think it's Danny but I'm not sure anymore.

I've never seen any footage of the band playing the song to know for sure, & it would have been before my time to see them live myself... anyone have a definite idea? Any chance someone saw them play the song at a show back in the day?

I always thought Danny did all the guitar leads here. But I could be wrong, of course.

I'm sure it's Danny. It has "that" finger vibrato.

On Danny's solo version though, it's Bob Weston.
