She sounds really good on that song!

I'm really excited for this album. I'm a country fan and think Charles has one of the best male voices around at the moment. I was surprised just how great he is when I saw lady Antebellum last year. He's a fun guy too. So yeah, that voice, plus songs with Miranda Lambert AND Stevie?! Bit of a man crush, not ashamed to say. I kinda want to be him.

Is a sound bite available anywhere for a listen?

I do like his voice on Blue Water. I wouldn't want to be him though. The awkward way he was leaning down and hovering over Stevie freaked me out. If I were going to be him, I'd be shorter.

I love his newest released song, 'Lonely Girl.' Insanely catchy to me, been humming it for the past few days.

I just downloaded “Southern Accents” and it sounds pretty good. Stevie is in fine voice and sings the “momma” verse just as I expected. Her harmony, particularly at the end, is gorgeous. Available from iTunes now.

I picked up the cd at lunch time. The album's not as bad as I imagined it might be, but "Southern Accents" is definitely the stand-out track.

She sounds great in this. It just frustrates me because I can just imagine how amazing a new Mac album would be, especially with her voice in fine form. :(

Glad I checked this thread. I watched the official video and just slightly heard her vocal. I guess they have a version of the song without her vocals, or just minimized. This version is much better IMO.
