“Hungry Like The Wolf” sounds like Danny

I’m at the dive down the street and Duran Duran’s “Hungry Like The Wolf” came on and the “do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do”s reminded me of Danny. Anyway, the more I listened to chord structure, it further reminded of Danny. The production is obviously a completely different era, but the bones are there.

I’m not a musician. But I think you might be reaching a bit.

What I heard was that Danny accidentally wandered into the studio where Simon and the boys were recording. They all thought he looked a little straggly and hungry, so they brought him in the soundbooth to record some backup vocals on “Hungry Like the Wolf.” Danny got the biggest kick out of it and laughed himself silly. Everybody ended the day on a high note.

If you listen closely, Danny does the last "tell me lies" on Little Lies before the fade out. It was the reason Little Lies became a hit.
