Bob Welch on the radio!!
 

On that SAME radio station that I heard LB's solo PK, I heard Sentimental Lady (solo version) yesterday!!!! I was ECSTATIC!! I knew that opening and went "That sounds familiar" (only hearing the solo version a couple of times) and then he sings "You are here and warm..." and I cranked the volume up! LOL This station REALLY likes FM and their various members, I've heard Little Lies, Hold Me, solo PK, and now Bob Welch!! YAY!!! I'm REALLY loving this radio station!! It's in Weatherford, Texas, a medium sized town (my dad and I go eat there sometimes) about 20-25 minutes from me.

I don't know, something about Bob's solo version of that just aggrivates me. The vocals sound weak and I don't like the brittle harpsichord or Christines vocal part. I work in a grocery store with a soft rock sattelite radio station on the PA and I have to hear it all the time.

They play a LOT of Mac and Beatles/solo Beatles stuff though! So that's cool. They even play album cuts that weren't singles. Come work with me you'll love the music. :laugh:

I've got the greatest job in the WORLD...I can listen to ANY music I want...hehehe....because I work at home. :D

Yeah, I like the FM version of SL WAAAAAAYYYYYY better, except I do like hearing Christine's vocals right out there in his solo version.

Really? I thought for you Christy it would be the FK version for sure since LB is on it, now that I think about it though, DK must be playing on the BT versions so hmm... :)

"Sentimental Lady" is my second favorite Bob Welch song, after "Hypnotized". I love both the FM & solo versions, but maybe the solo version just a tiny bit better. I LOVE Christine's vocals on the FM version though.:)

Yeah, I know, but it seems that on the FM version, it's a lil "peppier" or something....the solo version seems to lag and drag, but I do like CM's vocals on the solo verison...and yeah, LB too...hehe.
