Oklahoma City show still happening tomorrow?!

Just read that Little Rock was postponed due to illness tonight! I am supposed to see them tomorrow night in Oklahoma City and I am FREAKING OUT right now! :distress: :(

Anyone have any news or know who is ill?

Now they're saying it's Chris, and she's got an injured finger.

It seems odd they would cancel a show for that especially with Brett there who can certainly play all the songs…. Who would know if Chris was just pretending to play??

94.9 TOM-FM Ooops - we may have a correction. Seems that an injured finger has kept Christione McVie from playing the last couple shows and that may be the issue. Either way - I can't wait to see them when the date is re-scheduled.

Thanks much

Thanks for the information. I have posted on the arena's Facebook, but they probably won't make a decision until later today. Sucks since I have a hotel booked and all, but there's nothing I can do if cancelled/postponed.

Sweet, sweet Connie? Good grief, really? LOL

Just called the Chesapeake Energy Arena and the lady said the show is still happening. I will keep watching for any changes to that though. PRAYERS for whoever is sick to feel better or get better or whatever!!

Crossing my fingers and toes....

Please don't cancel OKC!!!!

Macfanforever 03-11-2015 06:09 PM

Mick was sick as a dog for couple of shows and lost his mother on top of it.
I dont see why Brett could fill in for her and she just sing .

She probably feels uncomfortable not adding her own keyboards into the music is probably why they cancel altogether.

I hope she feels better soon for all of you.

We got to remember they are humans like us and not robots like C-P30 ,R2-D2 from Star Wars,REM on Logan's Run and Data on Star Trek the Next Generation.LOL.......

Bad news...

I just heard from a reliable source that OKC is postponed as well. :( The lady who did the Ebay auction I won for Mick's Meet and Greet talked to management and she told me on the phone not long ago.

I am hoping this is not a serious illness.

She said the show would be rescheduled probably in April, but that is not set in stone, obviously. I cancelled my hotel room and I also will go to the rescheduled show, barring an emergency.

Anyway...blergh. :distress:

So happy for the fans and the band these dates are being rescheduled. With such a successful tour its easy to just cancel and move on.

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Fleetwood Mac On With The Show concert at the Chesapeake Arena has been postponed.

Due to an illness in the group, the tour date, originally scheduled for Thursday, March 12, has been rescheduled for Friday, April 17.

The band’s previously postponed March 11 show in Little Rock, AR has been rescheduled for April 19.

Tickets issued for the original concert dates are valid and will be honored at the rescheduled dates in their respective cities.

Fleetwood Mac Sets Make Up Date For Postponed March Concert at Chesapeake Energy Arena

Fleetwood Mac announced their rescheduled tour date for their stop at the Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma that was originally slated for March 12. The rescheduled tour date will be on Friday, April 17.

On with the Show tour began in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 30 and is currently scheduled to finish in Dublin, Ireland, on July 11 this summer. The over-100-city tour is one of the top earning worldwide tours in North America, according to Pollstar.

According to TotallyTickets.com, Fleetwood Mac tickets for their rescheduled date of April 17 at Chesapeake Energy Arena have an average ticket price of $281.77 with a get-in price of $71. Tickets issued for the original concert date are valid and will be honored at the rescheduled date. Arena doors are scheduled to open at 6:30 p.m.

Additional Fleetwood Mac tickets can be found at TotallyTickets.com as well, for those seeking attendance to their show in OKC or any others.

Creating hits for over four decades, Fleetwood Mac’s seemingly timeless act still has fans clamoring for their talents. Their worldwide following received a boost in 2014 as Christine McVie rejoined the band.

The Fleetwood Mac band fans know and love are back together again, and continue to create memorable experiences across the globe. The reinvigorated performers have an energy that has to be seen live in person.

It is not the first time during the tour where the band has been forced to postpone a show. Fleetwood Mac had to postpone their show in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 11 due to an unspecified illness and had a January 17 stop in Lincoln, Nebraska cut short after drummer Mick Fleetwood had the stomach flu partway through the set, forcing his drum tech to step in for a couple of numbers during an abbreviated show.

Luckily, fans will not miss out on catching one of their favorite bands live in concert. Although it’s about a month later than originally planned, Fleetwood Mac is still going to bring the energy to Chesapeake Energy Arena and supply a concert that will have fans happy they kept their tickets.

Have fun dear.... Brings me back to july 1st 2003... I'll be thinking about you. And tell Mick to say to the old witch that she has to hand in four 16 minute pianodemo's and let loose, and join Chris Mick and John with Lindsey after they cut it back to a set of 5 minute raw instrumentals.

Have fun!
