I Know I'm Not Wrong - Liddy Buck
 

I was listening to the instrumental of "I Know I'm Not Wrong" on the Remasters and all of the sudden I found the tune of "Liddy Buck" by John Stewart going along to it in my head. I had no idea before how close it was. Guess JS REALLY REALLY wanted to sound like LB!

? I'd have to listen to that one again.
I do remember one of the demo's sounding just like John Stewart's "Running in the Shadows", but that's because LB actually plays on that song.

Hey! So Liddy Buck is a Stewart song?! I had no idea that is where fans got the nickname for Lindsey! I just figured fans had made it up themselves! Forgive me, I'm not familiar with Stewart's catalog. Is it actually about Lindsey, or did fans just decide it would be a cool nickname for him based on the song title and his association with Stewart? I'm assuming it's an actual song about Lindsey...I can't see what else Liddy Buck could be.:cool:

The song was written in response to Lindsey's song on Law and Order called Johnny Stew. Here are the lyrics.

I listened to Liddy Buck last night, and it does sound like another IKINW-demo!

It's almost incredible how this song could have been build out of a IKINW demo.

Even the crispy guitarparts sound like Lindsey all the way.

I feel the same. I should be hanging off the Ledge! How did I not see it?:shrug:
