That is a beautiful, untouched photo of Chris! But am I bad person for wishing I could use a Lady Bic on her face...? :sorry:

This photo is wonderful and she's gorgeous, as always! I'm so glad she supports this great cause. She's really a beautiful woman inside and out, as Ironman said!

I wouldn't put a razor on peach fuzz. I think that causes more harm than good. If someone's got a heavy mustache or long chin hairs, that's a different story. Take it from a woman whose been waxing for longer than I care to remember.

No, you are not a bad person, Hejira! You just have a keen sense of observation! ;) The facial hair is a problem that 90% of women get after menopause, due to the hormonal changes (testosterone level exceed estrogen level, dihydrotestosterone level becomes too high too so it can't control the hair growth anymore, and stuff like this that I don't even remember). It's absolutely normal! :)
The REAL problem is when hair start to grow on your chin and neck when you are still 20/30 years old...this disorder is called hypertrichosis, and I suffer from it (not in a serious way) since I was 22, and it's not always funny when people point out the problem. Of course, if Chris wanted to permanently get rid of hair, she wouldn't have financial problems to do it (me, on the contrary, I have to cope with it using was almost every week! Never with a razor, or they'll become hard as trunks!). I understand that a 70 years old woman who doesn't sings anymore couldn't care less if she has hair on her face, legs, armpits, etc. 'cos she doesn't have to appear in photos and videos almost everyday, as in the past. And then, as Michelej1 said, her hair is just peach fuzz.
For me, she was and she's still gorgeous and SEXY, facial hair or not (or maybe with hair she's even sexier....ok ok, I know that I'm crazy!!) :D

Wow what a gorgeous pic. I have some light back hair that I have to wax. Shave one hair off and two grow back. Waxing although painful seems to keep it from growing back fast.

Yes, it's true! Razors and tweezers only make your hairs grow stronger and multiply. When the hair you try to tear out break, often under the skin, it causes folliculitis and other unpleasant problems! :distress: Waxing is the cheap but temporary remedy. I tried IPL (intense pulsed light) 4-5 times last year and it "seems" that it's the only solution. However the dermatologist told me that if you have light hair or just peach fuzz the IPL doesn't works, then it's better NOT to remove that type of hairs because they'll grow darker and stronger. I believe that's another good reason why Christine correctly chose not to remove hers! :D
