I was just finishing looking through that Atheist list and they had Barbara Ehrenreich on it, no surprise there.
But have you ever read any of her books? Damn, they're
good. If you feel like reading something interesting and utterly fabulous, try to get her book "Fear of Falling: The Inner Life of the Middle Class." "Nickel and Dimed" is a great read, too, especially for the last half. She is a socialist, though, so the right-wingers obviously hate her guts.
Reading up on Madalyn Murray O'Hare is always a riot, too. She was one wretched little spitfire.
