Bare Trees, easily. The sound is much more organic and full, whereas the
French Kiss version is just a little too slick-70s-pop for me, and the music isn't nearly as interesting. It all just seems a little thin. Plus, Christine's vocal part on the
Bare Trees version is just sublime. Her part on the
French Kiss version isn't bad, but it just can't hold a candle.
