I found the following (but not the festival info even with Tomorrow on the bill) in Jerry Lucky's The Psychedelic Rock Files...

August 14th, 1967

- The British government enacts legislation that effectively closes down pirate radio stations broadcasting underground music to Britain's youth. Perhaps tyhe only station still in operation, Radio Caroline, closes down for good.

- Scott McKenzie's summer of love anthem 'San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair)' is the no.1 song in the U.K.
