That's sweet, but I look at it this way: (You needn't)-
He was 84. People don't get more hilarious at age 85. I think the best of him is preserved on film, he had a very long life, and he likely wouldn't have ever worked again, anyway. So, RIP, LN!
It's interesting- a female friend of mine had a very similar reaction to yours when LN died recently, so you're not alone!
When I saw this thread, I thought 'that's interesting' and began reading, surprised to find that I'd replied to it- It's months old, and I forgot all of my answers. But reading the answers I chose, for once, I had no 'reason for editing'. Oh yes, I do- wouldn't want to trade place with Oprah, huh? Well, I'll leave it! What I was thinking to have written that I have no idea.
