Sheryl's presence would probably result is some increased publicity; Dave's hopefully in more cohesive, better sounding music, done faster.

From some scattered things people wrote about Dave's approach to producing, he seems to respect/adapt to the style of the artist(s) he's working with. Maybe his working with Lindsey et al would have somewhat leveling effect, possibly similar to that resulting from Christine working with Lindsey.
