Yeah, just speaks to how caring and concerned Irv must have been about Lindsey's solo career when he was managing him or how much he actually cared about Fleetwood Mac's career, other than how it benefitted Stevie.
Again, why Lindsey ever hired this man to be his manager is beyond me.
