Oh, no...1970...that would've been my 14th birthday. But, still..."things that happen in the world on your birthday" (as opposed to "day of your birth") just seem to be magnified in importance!
I was thinking back last night that in 1967, the one & only time I ever was IN Munich, I read the headline of an English language newspaper while walking down the street toward the Hofbrau Haus (I know, 11 yrs old & drinking beer, but I HAD parental consent!!
) that told of Beatles' manager Brian Epstein's death. So, I guess me & Munich should just never cross paths again.
