I've seen maybe three or four in my lifetime -- all crap. Many of them focus on being closeted, which is just depressing and something I don't care to see in films anymore. Or they kill off characters, which is pointless and cliched. I didn't care much for Brokeback Mountain, either, though it was beautifully filmed and acted. But the last one I saw, ironically, was one of my favorites, Shelter, a story about gay surfers. Positive ending, positive message. I wish more of them were like this.
