There is a comment by Peter in the Celmins biography, where he says something like: Does John Mcvie ever think of how I'm doing when he's sailing his new Yacht?

It would appear that Peter thinks of John as ungrateful, where as Mick has always expressed his gratitude to Peter for the success of Fleetwood Mac.

Regarding Jeremy playing with Mick in the future: I'd love to see it, both are playing extremely well at the moment. Recently, I saw a clip of Jeremy with a tribute band called the Rattlesnake Shake, he was amazing! I hear that Mick is breaking sticks like he never has in the past, lately he's playing with the aggression of a 25 year old. I would pay top buck to see Jeremy play with the MFBB.

To be fair, Peter made the comment about John sailing his yacht something like 18 years ago. Much water has passed under the bridge since then. They have met on a few occasions.

Somewhat more recently, but only by a few years, John gave an interview where he said he DOES have a problem meeting with Peter because he finds it hard to see the more subdued Peter Green post mental-illness compared with "Greeny, the (star guitar) player".

Mick has always gone on the record saying that he platonically loves Peter Green and would do anything for him, including fly around the world at the drop of a hat if Peter phoned and said "Hey join me in the studio". Mick could well be the strongest rock in Peter's life.

I get the impression Peter is uncomfortable with the whole rock star thing, and that is what Fleetwood Mac eventually meant to him. I think that John is uncomfortable with Peter's illness. Just my totally amateur observations having not met either man.

Regarding Jeremy....I reckon he and an on-form Mick Fleetwood with a good bassist (an on form McVie perhaps) could come up with a VERY exciting record.
