Yes...Bob Welch re-recorded (and retitled) it for his
Three Hearts album. It's called "Don't Wait Too Long".
I think adding "For Your Love" was a good idea. It's a great version. Bob said in his first Q&A, that his own version of "Good Things..." wasn't much different than the MTM version. With that being the case, to me, FYL fits the whole MTM vibe a bit better.
My LP copy of
Mystery To Me has "Good Things..." listed on both the cover & lyric sheet; since I bought the album within a week of its release.
Maybe if Rhino/WB Special Products gets off their collective asses and finish the rest of the catalogue remasters, we might get to hear the original "Good Things..." as a bonus track. (one of the songs that SHOULD've been included on
The Chain box)
