I adore the Live version so much. It's so raw, so unpolished. You can hear how Stevie's voice was rapidly eroding on the Tusk tour. You can hear how tired she is. To me, the whole Live album is a beautiful moment in time, despite the fact the songs were recorded over a wide time range and many were touched up. You still get a special feel for the era. The new Tusk Deluxe Sara just doesn't do anything for me. In general, I just don't care for 20th century renditions of the song- I don't think it was really perfected onstage until the 21st century. The Live Sara is an exception for me for some reason, though.
