By all accounts and from recorded evidence Green was on top of his game as a musician a year later on the Mac tour of spring '71 when he replaced Spencer.
Also, even a Wikipedia page will tell you there is no such thing as "bad LSD". The dosage would be what matters like with any drug. And Munich was not the first or last time Green took the drug.
This legend is probably of more cultural importance.
