I love this commentary! I love this SONG! For decades, I imagined she was singing about Lindsey. Never occurred to me it could be about Mick. The Living Room Demos (where it originated, along with "Storms") is post Rumours, pre Tusk era when her and Mick were "a thing." And if you think about it along the lines of "the keeper of the time"...aka Mick "keeping time" as the drummer for the band, it all makes so much sense now.
