But doesn't that take you back to a quaint time? Washing dishes with the kitchen window open, talking to the boy you like outside ... It's kind of odd, because I haven't even had a kitchen window in years, much less lace curtains. I had a house with 6 sets of french windows downstairs, full of glass. But no kitchen windows!
