I am aware of his quotes. He even said that Christine's songs never sounded that good on stage, anyway (and Christine said that he wasn't missed when he left because excerpt for a couple of songs he never had any of the hits anyway). I take these remarks as sour grapes by both parties.

Total sour grapes. I remember her in some local radio interviews saying how they are going to carry on even better than before during the BTM tours. She was their spokesperson during that tour.
