hahahaa! Stevie would face him and shout. He would smash his guitar against Mick's kit.
Then, in ensuing interviews, Stevie would say, "Silver Springs" is about my great love, Pete Townsend. I realize that now. |

I don't think this has been posted before, but this seems to be a recent interview with Neil in which in part he talks about his FM experience. His comments strike me as a bit anodyne. He was a temp, albeit a classy one and seems to know it.

Oh sorry..I have to take umbrage at pokes at Roger Daltrey.
I saw The Who a life time ago..in 1966. I was just sixteen and they appeared at my local Town Hall…tickets were 8 shillings !!!!…(under 50p now, less than a dollar) Roger was gorgeous, they performed all the hits they’d had already. And he sang pretty good. He didn’t have his long curls yet…( when he truly was beautiful)… They all still had their “Mod” hairstyle.. I was at high school so had to save for the ticket..tho I was a Saturday girl at Woolies..hahaha |

I think there would have been more, even if only just Classic type shows, if not for the pandemic, but there’s really no need for him to go there.
