Default Concert suggestions Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac?

Hi everyone--
First time poster, guitarist & great fan of PG's playing with FM...
I'm trading with someone who has access to a lot of live
FM bootleg concerts 68-70. (I already have most of the
commercially released live & studio material from this era FM...)
Can anyone make suggestions of Peter's best playing on 68-70
bootlegs? I'm especially looking for electric blues or original
material which is not on other live recordings. Less interested
in acoustic blues or long Dead style jams, though I like everything
he's done. Here's what I've chosen as likely to be his best:

04/01/70 FILLMORE WEST, SF
11/68 GOLDEN CIRCLE, STOCKHOLM
1/70 BBC concert 1 CD
11/17/68 COPENHAGEN 1 CD
4/20/69 Roughage Amsterdam
9/24/69 Kulttuuritalo Helsinki
1/70 Warehouse concerts
NO WAY OUT FROM THE BLUES 1 CD

Are there others which you think I'd like better? :^)
Thanks--all comments would be very appreciated.
-best--Joel

These are REALLY good.

You have the Live In Boston trilogy, I assume?

A shame ...that's when Peter really shines (to me, that is)

Hi ChiliD--
Yes, re: the Live In Boston trilogy. Great music.

re: >Less interested in acoustic blues or long Dead style jams...

I do like everything he does.
I'm basically looking for material which was not performed
as often in concert. For instance: "I've Got A Mind To Give Up Living"
(9/24/69 Kulttuuritalo Helsinki) was recommended.
It's tough to know what to trade for....

thanks--Joel

First of all, the 04/01 1970 is january 4, 1970, and it is the BEST "I've Got A Mind To Give Up Living" performance.
The Roughage does not include all the Dutch boots, there are more, especially a better performance of Danny on "One Sided Love".
You did not mention "Shrine 69". It is an official release. If you don't have it yet, BUY IT IMMEDIATELY!!
The Helsinki recording I've got has a very poor sound quality, perhaps you have something better??
Furthermore there is (in my posession) the
-Örebrö, november 6 1969;
-Copenhagen, november 11 1968;
-Fillmore West, january 2, 1970;
-Seattle, january 17, 1970;
-Vienna, march 25, 1970;
-Böblingen, march 26, 1970;
-Copenhagen, march 28, 1970;
-Stockholm, april 1, 1970;
recordings.

Maybe set up a trade?

Is that the one that came out as a quasi-official release called The Original Fleetwood Mac Blues Band, on Eagle Records??

Joel, what you might want depends also on what sound quality you're interested in. Most of the '67-'70 bootlegs are audience recordings of varying quality. The 4 Jan. 1970 Fillmore West show is excellent sound quality (and it's a must-have IMHO), and the shows from the Warehouse in New Orleans are great sound quality too (one of these features a very nice version of "Before the Beginning"). Another one with excellent sound is the 2-disc set from 6/68 at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco, with a terrific performance of "Worried Dream", plus a few numbers with Paul Butterfield. The 1/17/70 (sometimes listed as 1/7/70) Eagle Auditorium show from Seattle has very good sound, but has a similar set to the 1/4/70 Fillmore show, which I think is a better show. If you're not so particular about the sound quality, then there are more choices. If you're not as interested in the long jams, you may be better concentrating more on the pre-1970 shows, although there's a lot of great stuff from 1970 too.

Hi Wouter and Sharksfan--
Thanks for the info and suggestions.
I forgot to ask my trade guy about the Carousel concert!
Have heard its a good one...
It seems one version the 9/24/69 Kulttuuritalo Helsinki show
is from an FM source--I've also seen it described as a poor
quality audience recording.
I'm happy to trade any of this material--
when (and if) I receive it. Yes, I bought the Shrine
recording and especially love 'Before the Beginning'--
one of my favorite PG songs--and 'Rollin' Man'.
Hearing these live performances for the first time was a thrill.
There's something inspiring about hearing different versions
of a tune. It gives one a real sense of an artist's
creativity...--Joel
