Default Talking about graduation...

What songs or albums were on the radio the year you graduated from high school ?

In my case it was 1981.. so Starting Over was strongly listened that year.
The "best of times" and other songs from Styx's Paradise Theatre
Just The Two Of Us - Grover Washington, Jr.
Endless love and Bette Davis Eyes.. Humm...
Reo Speedwagon's High Infidelity.. a cool album
Sheena Easton.. cool songs too
Fire And Ice - Pat Benatar
A WOMAN NEEDS LOVE (Just Like You Do)- Ray Parker Jr.
Start Me Up - Rolling Stones
ELO - I liked the TIME album.. Twilight, Ticket to the moon..

It was the year everybody were doing celebrations while the tide is high..

god, I'll never forget it. our songs were I Believe I Can Fly by R. Kelley and Count On Me by Whitney Houston.

I can't really remember what was hot back in '97. I'll have to look it up.

it was 1987...

"lean on me" that remake by... who was it again? (lean on me, when you're not strong... and i'll be your friend, i'll help you carry on...")

and though it came out years after i graduated, that graduation song (you know the one i mean?) got me all choked up the first time i heard it. and i didn't even LIKE high school!

That was me in 7th-8th grade. Nothing but Streisand.

I love that Stevie pic, and as soon as the whole flying vaj thing came to mind there was no going back.

Wasn't there something like these two bands were the same or had a bunch of the same players?
As you can tell, some of the therapy is working to block out much of the 80's music.

I don't remember what exactly was the big stuff when I graduated in 1984 (I feel like the grandma of the boards after reading some of the other posts!).
MTV was still showing music! .... okay, so I am old....
