I really thought about Little Lies. It is certainly definitive, not just for Christine, but for FM. The band is constantly defined by that song. In the past, especially. Today, Don't Stop has overtaken it, but Little Lies used to be strongly symbolic of what people thought this band represented.

Definitive yes, indeed. Best? Meh.

Anyway, I thought about Nicepace's strategy and decided not to vote for LL because it would weaken the other songs' chances. I feel Little Lies will definitely move on anyway though and -- in a way -- that's only fair.

Sorry. I didn't say a word when Don't Stop breezed on through. Not a word. So...

Little Lies for the win!

Yes definitive. One way to determine public perception of the band is to see the number of views of band videos on youtube. It's not a science, but it gives a good indication.

Dreams (a 1977 Paris soundboard, I think) and Go Your Own Way (HQ album version) lead with over 14 million views. Little Lies comes (official video) third with over eight million views. Then The Dance's Landslide and Don't Stop at five million each.

These aren't necessarily the fans' favorite songs or our opinions of the best material, but in terms of public perception and taste, these are the songs, more than any other, that define the band.

I go obviously with Little Lies and Everywhere, two of the most recognized and successful Chris McVie's songs!!

I don't know why, but Mystified and Isn't it Midnight never convinced me. I like the 25 Years: The Chain version of IIM, but, is not one of my favourites...

And I voted for You & I, Part I, just because I love the song. But, for me, it's a Lindsey's song...
Regards!

Isn't It Midnight is one of Christine's best. Such great work on this album...

I again employed the "NicePace Strategy" (thanks Michelle) and voted for just one song, "Isn't It Midnight," to strengthen the effect of my vote.

One thing about percentages and this contest is songs you didn't vote for get a smaller percentage once you choose your songs. Remember it's not about the number of votes per songs, but which ones get at least half of the Ledge's support.

I voted for four songs - Little Lies, Isn't It Midnight, Everywhere, and Mystfied.

I love Little Lies and its an obvious hit. Isn't It Midnight is one of my favorite Christine/Mac songs, and I thrilled it appears it will move forward. Everywhere like Little Lies, is an obvious hit, but I find the song kinda annoying, yet it should move forward. Mystified has nice mellow cool feel to it, so I voted for it too!

Still got a day left in voting. I'm about to post the next poll for the Behind the Mask era.

I wanted to vote for Ricky too, just because I love it, but then I reasoned that it isn't "best" or definitive, so I thought I better not.
