Default Clinton On Letterman Tuesday

Didn't see this posted anywhere so thought I would.

Anybody catch it?
I missed the start but saw most of it. Clinton was very funny and well spoken, as usual. I liked his suggestion that every fifty-year-old should write memoirs for his/her descendants.
Clinton did say that he did not believe the current administration is using the alerts for political reasons.
He talked a bit about fighting AIDS in Africa & quite a bit about Kerry. He seems to have a good understanding of the challenges Kerry faces if he's to win in November.
BTW, can somebody tell the Richard Gere joke that Bill referenced in mock disgust? I missed that part.

Wasn't he referring to the gerbil rumour?

He also said he thought our efforts should be in Afghanistan to find Bin Laden and discussed Kerry's strengths as a senator. I got the impression he was a bit tired and that he really didn't like Letterman too much. He reaaly dug the Stevie Wonder song that they played for him when he came out.
As always, he was articulate, thoughtful and precise. I missed the Richard Gere joke as well.

Clinton did a nice job. He is always a great interview....I thought his book dedication to Harry was hilarious.

I wish he were able to run for another term.

Whaaat!?

We need to move on. Move on from Clintons, Bushes and, yes, Kennedys.

Let's bring in some fresh blood.

Well, I'd take Clinton over Bush, Gore, and Kerry. Any day.

AMEN! I am almost 23 years old (I was 11 when he was elected) and I still feel nostalgic everytime he's on TV. *Le sigh* the good old days...

Oh, good, it wasn't my imagination. Yeah, weird that he looked that way about Letterman!

Me, too, but since Clinton brought it up after Letterman said something about that guy smuggling papers in his shorts, I have to assume it was a "gerbil" joke.

That's what I thought he was referring to. I've heard it said about Bill Cosby, too.
