Anyone have a good source on opening bands?
Anyone know where to find a list of opening bands for the tours? Some I recall, and some I am not sure there was one.

The archived website Fleetwood Mac Legacy has some info under "Tour Pages" -> choose a tour ->hoover over the city of a certain concert date for available info over opening acts, setlist etc.

Interesting thread. Off memory I can name some good ones.
I don't go way back but here is my memory 1979 Tusk Tour opening act Christopher Cross - just wow, he won a Grammy that year. I wish I was there 1982 Mirage Tour - Men at work who had a #1 hit "Who can it be now" Glenn Frey opened a few dates late in the tour 1983 Wild Heart Tour - Joe Walsh - Stevie's boyfriend on the road while still recently married 1984 Christine McVie - Baxter Robinson Band - great band who had this minor hit in 1984 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjNWyhe6y-8 1986 Rock A Little - Peter Frampton 1987 - Tango "Shake the cage tour" - The Cruzados 1989 - The Other Side of the Mirror tour - The Hooters USA Richard Marx - Europe 1990 - Behind the Mask tour - Squeeze Farewell tour - no opening act 1991- Timespace tour - Jon Bon Jovi's friend Billy Falcon who had this minor hit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLIFnMExtNs 1994- Street Angel tour Cant remember 1997 - The Dance - no opening act 1998 - Enchanted tour - Bozz Scaggs 2001- Trouble tour - Cant remember Vanessa Carlton opened for Stevie around this time on some tour This is just my memory - I know you guys will correct me if I am wrong

The rock band Opus opened on some of these dates....I believe the early ones, with Frampton coming later.
It was a guy by the name of Darden Smith, but I don't know much about him. Michael McDonald opened at a few of these too. I believe it was at the end of the tour. Also, America's Got Talent winner Michael Grimm opened for Stevie on some dates of the IYD tour |

This is interesting.About 95 percent of the time I never paid attention to the opening acts because I got there late or chatting with other Stevie/FM fans,Some Ledgies and my guests at the shows.I did like Bozz Scaggs.Vanessa Carlton and Peter Frampton though.
The positive or negative thing about opening acts as it gives you a chance to get into the venue on time for the main artist and the bad thing is they push the main act closer to the 11pm curfew time.

Chris de Burgh opened for them at the 1990 BTM-tour in Europe (or at least in Utrecht/Holland)
The Adventurers opened for them at my 1988 Rotterdam TITN-concert. Hans Vermeulen (Dutch artist) openend for the Time-lineup at the Dutch 1994-shows. |

Does anyone remember that Fleetwood's road crew used to play the Tubular Bells (Exorcist) music for the band entrance in those days? Creepy but exciting.

Darden Smith, who opened for Stevie's Street Angel 1994 tour, had the hit song "Loving Arms." You can hear it on YouTube. It's a great song.
