Default Urgent - Lindsey Interview!!!

Oh my God guys! I've just received my review copy of Gift of screws - haven't heard it yet....

BUT, I 've also had a note to say can I interview LB tomorrow evening!!!!!
Can I? Oh I think I can!!

It will be over the telephone (I'm in london). I'm frantically trying to contact the record company to confirm it. But, assuming it will happen - please feel free to put some questions down for him.

Sorry to sound so excited but hell I AM excited

Will keep you updated as things unfold.

Here's some questions I have for him.

#1. Since Fleetwood Mac will be winding down next year, will he reunite Buckingham Nicks, and also with the same touring band, IE Gary Hodges, Tom Moncrieff, Waddy Wachtel, Bob Aguirre?

#2. Does he plan on continuing his solo career after FM?

Good questions guys. The UK one is definitely one to ask as I'd love to see him perform here. I had to travel to New York last tour.

I would ask him whether the following are rumours or fact:

1. Did Sheryl Crowe openly solicit FM to be an actual emeber of the band as opposed to a back up musician like Brett Tuggle, Neale, and the rest. Would she be in the "inner circle." If so, which members of the band were opposed to the idea and which were for it and why on both accounts?

2. Why did he sell his house on the hill - his dream home that was featured in Town and Country magazine?

3. Did he lose money on SYW?

For whom do you write, GyspySoul?

I would want to ask how he feels about the leaked Gift of Screws tracks and did that change how he did things thereafter. Did he not include any of those tracks on the new album because they had been leaked and so broadly disseminated?

I agree Strand - it's a great opportunity for us fans. I just wish the guy who sent me the note would return my calls and confirm the details for me. He's out of the office right now but I'll keep stalking him until he gives me a time and a telephone number for LB

Probably not an appropriate question for the purposes of this interview, but *definitely* an interesting question. After all that time, effort, and $$$, only to sell it after less than two years?

I mean, is the property in general THAT nightmarishly symbolic to Lindsey that even tearing down the house couldn't rid the bad vibes of the place? Remember, Lindsey & Kristen didn't even live in the old house together for similar types of reasons (bachelor pad, etc.)... I mean, how bad could it have been? "Family Guy"'s Quagmire's house bad?

Btflchild - you never fail to make me smile. That is a cool question!
Thank-you everyone else too.
Suzy - the stew party sounds great. It's definitely worth a European tour!

1) Definitely inquire about the new Mac album and whether he will act as a co producer-----and a timeline of when he thinks they will actaully start the process because fans are terrified it may not happen after time spent together on the road.

2.) Ask if he he ever browses the message boards

3.) AND would he ever consider producing a solo album with Christine?

4.) Is there anything musically he hasn't done but would like to in the future?

5.) What does he do for fun when hes not playin 'rpund in the studio?

No, these are NOT you usual run of the mill questions that get asked but they are what the FANS really would like to know.

Would he ever consider any other songs from Law and Order for his concert set besides Trouble? I think Shadow of the West would be gorgeous to hear live.

I hope you get this interview, gypsysoul!

So do I wondergirl.
I've just had an email from the record company saying it's still being confirmed at Lindsey's end, so fingers crossed.

I've also been asked specifically not to leak any music via the internet which I've agreed ofcourse.
So if anyone else also gets a preview I think out of respect for LB and the record company who seem to be keen to promote it properly - it would be wrong to leak it.

gypsysoul, if you've seen Lindsey's answers on youtube, you'll appreciate that he tends to be very verbal. Unless you have the opportunity to interview him for hours, you really need to focus on one or two questions that you think are the best. I hope it works out for you.
