Titled "The Fallen," the special "Nightline" broadcast will air Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2005, at 11:35 p.m. ET on the ABC Television Network. ABC News Radio will air excerpts of the program.

I can't wait to hear about whether or not Hyman and Co. will censor it again.

Cheers to Koppel, these people need recognition.

The one and only Sinclair Broadcasting, owned and operated by the right wing. When Koppel first did a show like this last year, they accused him of making a political statement and refused to air it on their ABC stations. Funny thing is that Mark Hyman, the vice president, cuts into every local news broadcast in the evening for his "The Point," wherein he lobs grenades at liberals and the like, and spouts neocon talking points. It's disgusting. They even forced News 40 in Springfield to go on-air after 9/11 and say that they support Bush. Even the weathermen.

Randi and Al Franken went to the House today for Rep. Conyers' Media Bias forum. I heard him open and it was refreshing to hear someone in the government talking about this, even if it was a dem in the house, still, someone is freaking taking some kind of a stand.
