Did You Miss Me [Kbco Studio C Sessions]
While browsing on Amazon today I saw this: Did You Miss Me [Kbco Studio C Sessions]. Where is this from, when was it recorded? OK edit: I also see Time Precious Time and Big Love are "Kbco Studio C Sessions". What is behind these?
I'm starting to realize that there are songs I've never heard with Lindsey on them and this bothers me greatly!! I mean, i think I've heard all the songs he is singing lead, but there are several songs where he is singing background vox only or even just playing guitar. Do we have a definitive list of this somewhere? I saw on Stevie's boards, someone was trying to put this together for her stuff. I listened to Christine's 1984 album and heard Lindsey on there so clearly, but I am sure you all know those songs. And here is something I am embarrassed as a fan to admit: Yesterday I only just heard "Make Me A Mask" for the first time!! I love the music, that is a sound that is soooo Lindsey, but i think I get why people aren't really into this song (which I saw on the Rumours boards) Last edited by AbbiJoy78; 03-27-2013 at 11:59 AM.. These live acoustic versions of LB songs from 2008. I know a lot of people on this board don't like Time Precious Time, but the guitar playing is fantastic (especially the radio station live acoustic version, where you know there was no post-production work, just LB and his guitar). From a previous post of mine - favorite live acoustic versions:
Trouble - Rhapsody Original (go to Rhapsody.com for a free listen) Never Going Back Again - Rare On Air (re-worked before the OOTC tour) Soul Drifter - Live with Regis and Kathy Lee (concert version on the Live in San Juan Capistrano concert radio show) Gold Dust Woman -Rumours 30th Anniversary CD This Nearly Was Mine/Street of Dreams - Soul Drifter German CD Single Time Precious Time - KCBO Radio Show/EP Shut Us Down - Late Night With Conan O'Brien (fantastic ending) Down On Rodeo - Rhapsody Original Countdown - ABC (or A &E) In Concert - literally a scream Did You Miss Me - KCBO Radio Show/EP Show You How - Radio Show (Sirrius/XM - I think, previously posted on this site) Not too Late - Rhapsody Original Doesn't Anything Last - Short demo - Rumours 30th Anniversary CD Big Love - KCBO Radio Show/EP (or Soundstage DVD) Go Insane - Dance DVD or Soundstage DVD Flying Down Juniper - Lindseybuckingham.com Cast Away Dreams - Not Too Late Documentary with Bass Hall DVD She Smiled Sweetly - GOS Demo Blue Turns to Gray - GOS Demo Save Me a Place - Tusk Tour Soundboard recording Bleed To Love Her - Audience Recording (NYC) Stephanie - Buckingham Nicks LP (some electric guitar accompaniment) Cool Water - B-side of an FM Single Gypsy - cover of a western classic (I think John McVie accompanies and sings) Stephanie and Bleed To Love Her are now on the One Man Show. I think the BuckinghamNicks website has a comprehnsive list of all songs that LB has contributed. My favorite is the gutiar parts on Don Henley's You Can't Make Love. For what it is worth (to each his/her own), Make Me A Mask is my least favorite LB song. |
