Default Safe Harbour VS Albatross

My friend and I were discussing some early Mac last night and the subject turned to these 2 songs. It is my friends opinion that Safe Harbour is terrible and doesnt deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Albatross. I won't say that Safe Harbour is my favorite out of the 2 by any means, but I do like it. It's always pleasant to listen to.

chiliD would agree with you. I'd agree with your friend.

How ANYBODY could NOT like "Safe Harbour" is beyond me.

But, in saying that, I don't think it holds a candle to "Albatross" (or "Sunny Side Of Heaven"...or "Underway"...or "Earl Grey", either, for that matter)

Heroes Are Hard To Find. "Safe Harbour" is a Bob Welch song.

"Safe Harbour" is nice, but nowhere near "Albatross" - I'm with ChiliD

Safe Harbour rocks! The first time I heard it was in February or so of 1980, when Jim Ladd broadcast his Innerview of Stevie Nicks from December 12, 1979. He used Safe Harbour as the sonic backdrop for Stevie's opening remarks. Of course, at that time I didn't know it was a Fleetwood Mac track.

I have the staff notation/sheet music for Safe Harbour, which I can post somewhere if anyone wants it.
