Default Hamburger Helper

Ok, well I was thinking about that interview when SN talks about Hamburger Helper (Link? I lost mine). And then it made me think, did any FM members enjoy cooking? Christine doin kippers!

Wasnt there Fleetwood Mac recipes???

Hmmm, I know what you mean... Its funny how some interviews nowdays she can be dead serious, and others shes not and has a laugh

I heard about a book with FM recipes, I tried to Google it quickly, but, I'm sure if you look a while you can find it out there. I thought it was Christine's pork chop recipe or something

I did read on the NixFix, on Lori's Q&A, that Stevie makes sandwiches and some sauces, so , she must cook a little bit..lol

I know this is said about most of Stevie's pre rehab interviews but, to me, she appears really high in this particular one.

Savory Baked Fish
December 08, 1988|By Fleetwood Mac's John McVie

2 cups mayonnaise

3 cloves garlic, chopped

1 large onion, chopped
Tabasco sauce to taste

Lemon

Parsley

1 1/2 to 2 pounds firm white fish (halibut, sea bass, mahi-mahi)

1 cup packaged bread crumbs

In mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, garlic, onion, Tabasco sauce and blend well. Spread mixture on both sides of fish. Seal in foil package. Bake in preheated 375 F oven for 20 minutes (depending on thickness of fish). Remove from oven, open package and sprinkle bread crumbs on top of fish. Return to oven until bread crumbs are browned. Serve garnished with sliced lemon and parsley sprigs.

Makes 4 servings.

Fleetwood Mac Fiesta Dip

Ingredients
2 large cans Rosarita spicy refried beans
2 packages taco seasoning
1 cup mayonnaise
2 cups sour cream
6 medium tomatoes, chopped
Iceberg lettuce, shredded
3 cups grated cheddar cheese
2 small cans sliced black olives
Glass baking pan 9" x 13" x 2"

Bottom layer in pan: refried beans
Next layer: mix taco seasoning, mayonnaise + sour cream together and spread half of it on top of beans
Then: layer of shredded lettuce
Next: layer of grated cheese
Then: layer of chopped tomatoes
Next: another layer of taco seasoning, mayonnaise, sour cream mixture
Last: layer of sliced olives

Serve with tortilla chips.

I served this party dip at my 4th of July barbeque and it was a great success!!
