I got your point and it was very well made. However, no one in this country wants to invest the time in even attempting to understand another group, culture, or individual. They're too concerned with whether Trista and Ryan stay together than with foreign affairs. And the politicians just do whatever makes them a quick buck or lines their pockets with even more gold.
