The only "problem" I have with Bekka, is that sometimes she goes a bit overboard in her singing. Take her renditions of "Imagine"... Lennon wrote and sang a really lovely, straightforward song. In Bekka's hands, it became too overrought. The line, "above us, only sky," for example, became "above us, only sky-y-yy-y-ooh-yy-hyyy."
It's just too much, in my opinion. And a little of that goes a very long way.

It's not just Bekka, of course... a lot of soul and r&b singers fall into the same trap. They over-emote to the detriment of the song, and I start to care very little about how impressive their range is, and only about how soon they're going to shut-up. Which is never something you want your listeners to feel.
