Music Videos You Hate
Thanks littlelies7 for the inspiration
(am I becoming a copier??) Well, I remember these videos: Every breath you take Seven Wonders As long as you follow I don't like mondays (it's a very simple video but Geldof did a good work) Hell on Wheels (Cher was critiziced in this album but I liked the song and the video) Lies Lies (Thompson Twins) Destination unknown (Missing Persons) Is it obvious that I miss the 80s??? |

You're not copying; you're spinning off.
- Gypsy
- Seven Wonders - If Anyone Falls - Little Lies - I Can't Wait - Every Day - As Long As You Follow (love Stevie's seated swaying) - Love Will Show Us How (Chris has personality, even if the actors are HORRIBLE) - Countdown - Slow Dancing - Holiday Road - That Cars video with Paulina - Most Eurythmics videos - Nothing But Flowers - Live To Tell and Cherish (Madonna's only non-mutant videos) I've been so long without music channels, I'm sure there are many I'm forgetting. - Jake

Well, other than the obvious (the obvious being all of FM, Stevie and Lindsey's videos) there are a few you all have mentioned that I like as well as Annie Lennox's video for Walking On Broken Glass and Dave Matthews Band's video for Crash. That's all I can think of right at the moment.

Not really a big fan of music video's...actually I can't remember the last time a Video Music Channel actually SHOWED one...but if memory serves:
Gypsy by Fleetwood Mac remains my all time favorite...it was just a beautiful mini movie...and Stevie clearly was in her glory in the video and it showed. Garden State Girlie mentioned Crash Into Me from DMB and I love that one as well...the shots of Stefan with the upright bass were absolutely stunning...and I like their video for Don't Drink The Water as well...more stunning imagery Along those lines: Dave Matthews solo video for Gravedigger is a haunting, exhausting 4 minutes...beautifully done. Pearl Jam's Jeremy-Yes, I know it's graphic and disturbing, but it was well done. Mark Pellington (director) really brought the song to life...and Eddie Vedder's performance was captivating (though he really didn't do much in it, his closeups were stunning) Annie Lennox in Why. OMG is she beautiful!! U2's Where The Streets Have No Name...looks like a good time was had by all. David Bowie's China Girl...how I would love to French Kiss David on a beach for a few minutes |

Favorite music videos? Hmm.
U2- One (The "Bono in the Bar" version. Mmmm, Bono.) FM- Hold Me Blondie- Rapture Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers- Don't Come Around Here No More (This video is weird as hell, but I like it) Stevie- I Can't Wait Blondie- Heart of Glass U2- Beautiful Day (Love Bono and his "Elvis Dancing") Matchbox 20- Bright Lights (It's a performance video, but the way it was done is very cool) U2- Where the Streets Have No Name (Looks like such a fun video. I'd *love* to see U2 play on top of a building... lol) Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers- Refugee (Really simple, but cool nonetheless) No Doubt- Sunday Morning I'm sure there are more that I haven't listed, those are just off the top of my head.
