That thing looks like a down-filled vest or the kind of back brace that movers wear when picking up heavy boxes.

But Stevie does look really cute. I like the way her waist is accentuated.

That horse who has tried to kill her more than once made his triumphant return.

It was shot at the US Festival in "82 or thereabouts. There was an issue with security a fan and apparently Stevie got wind of it and became very upset. What you see is her charging across the stage to rescue her fan in distress on the other side. She takes a huge leap off the stage but then has a little trouble getting back up to finish Edge. It's classic Stevie. When I first saw the video I was so alarmed because I didn't know what the hell was going on. Stevie's a little dramatic sometimes...

Thank you!!
She does look quite alarmed. I will have to pull out the video I have of the show and check it out..
Yes Stevie can be dramatic at times, but then that is part of what makes her our Stevie...

I never knew their was an issue with a distressed fan. I just thought she was singing, " I hear the call of a Nightbird ", while running across the stage to get closer to her fans. I always loved this part because she is so into the moment.

Absolutely! This is probably my all time favorite Stevie moment. It had be laughing my arse off and you'll never see such a spontaneous moment at one of her shows these days. But then the Wild Heart era is probably my favorite anyway so I'm bias.
