I just had the coolest experience tonight. I was driving and I pulled up into a parking lot outside a dance studio. There were two trash cans side by side. One was a recycling bin. Sitting quietly on top of the trash can handle was an adorable little owl.I have never in my whole life seen an owl in person, let alone up close.She sat there staring into my eyes and I had one foot out of the car and I told her how beautiful she was and not to be scared. Then I got out of the car and closed the door and walked over to the recycling bin and opened it. She still didn't leave. Her body turned gently from side to side and she watched me pull out some magazines from the bin and I spoke to her some more. After I had the magazines in hand she watched me walk over to the car and toss them through the window. Then she watched me walk back to the barrel before she left me.She looked a bit startled when I was lifting the recycle bin cover up to close it and off she flew into the night. I thanked God for the wonderful opportunity He had presented me with.

On the news 2013




Hahahaha.I always want to be in Broadcasting .But my horrible English nix that opportunity 34 years ago when I try to get into local DJ school and failed at reading a news and adverts copy in the pre testing exam but passed the technical with flying colors.

As I look back now I probably get away and breeze through schooling since todays jocks talk crap on the radio .Plus most station are Robo operated with automated and voiced tracked with computers then the ole two turntables and cart machines for the commercials and jock-less.


If I was on radio .My dream would come true in meeting and interviewing Stevie one on one.

Quick South Beach, Miami day trip over the weekend. Stopped along the Everglades too along the way. Was balmy and lots of people out and had lots of fun.

Oh, and while walking along Ocean Drive in South Beach, a boutique had both doors open and for an entire block you heard Edge of Seventeen blaring up and down the street with crowds of people outside.

We've had a cool spell the last couple of days considering it was sunny and hot the day I headed down to Miami. The news said this should be the last cold snap of the season down here and we should be having higher normal temps than this being it's almost April. I guess winter up north is enjoying it's stay. I had been to South Beach before but never walked 25 blocks like we did the other night, I didn't realize just how huge that place is, you really could live on that island and never have to leave it for anything. I passed by these two young women, both in cocktail dresses and heels sitting outside some party/hotel/ball and I hear one of them say "Oh, I like your messy bun" and I turned around and laughed and said thanks. Because it was hot that day and I was out looking all casual not really dressed all up or trying. And I've never seen so many shaved and waxed men than I have running around South Beach. Granted I'm pretty hairless too but I wear an occasional skirt.

Viv my camera is just a regular camera really, nothing that fancy. I kind of want one of those cool zoom lens cameras, although I'd probably never learn how to use something like that.

Oh my god. 80 degrees.I cant freaking wait.

It just hit below 60 here today.

Since today was nice out I extend my walk alittle farther then normal.

I got a big mess here in the yard.I got to clean up after the blizzard and other winter storms.

Trash ,Broken tree branches.3 mid size fallen trees got to be removed.

Clean out the gardens.

What a freaking mess here.
